Fujitsu Activate Credential & Login

Fujitsu will purchase the Phone OTP credential on behalf of the customer and provide the license key to the customer to use during the activation process. The process begins with the license key. If completing activation during first-time login, begin with Step 2. Activate Phone OTP. If logging back into an account, please follow the instructions below to complete the credentialing process.


Process Overview

With Phone OTP, logging into your MAG account will work a little differently. Whenever you log in, you will use your MAG User ID and Password as usual. Then an OTP code will be sent to your mobile or landline phone via text or voice call. Use it to log in securely.

Setting up your Phone OTP and logging in, takes 3 steps:

Step 1.  Enter the License Key

Step 2.  Activate Phone OTP

Step 3. Log-in with Phone OTP



STEP 1.  Enter the License Key 

Register your OTP purchase by entering the License Key in your MAG account. Fujitsu purchases a credential on your behalf and provides the license key to you for the activation process.

To register your Phone OTP, you must have your License Key handy. This license key is provided by Fujitsu. Follow the steps below to enter your License Key:

Step 1.  Log into your MAG account at https://portal.exostar.com.

Step 2.  Go to the My Account tab

Step 3.  Go to the Manage OTP sub-tab.

Step 4.  Click Purchase or Register Credentials

Step 5. From the Let’s Get Credentialed page, click Get/Activate Credentials. Click Continue.

Step 6.  Select the I Have a License Key link and enter your license key. Click Continue. Proceed directly to activation. 




STEP 2.  Activate Phone OTP 

Activate your Phone OTP by registering a phone number and binding it to your MAG account. You can register up to three phone numbers to your OTP. It is highly recommended that you register at least two phone numbers. In instances where you no longer have access to one phone number, you can log in with the other and update the numbers associated with your subscription. For the protection of your account, the phone numbers can be updated only after you log in with your phone OTP.

To register your credential:

Step 1.  Click Continue from the Let’s Get Credentialed page.  If you have an existing MAG account, go to My Account and click Manage OTP. Click Purchase or Register Credentials.

Step 2.  Select the Get/Activate Credentials radio button, and click Continue.

Step 3.  Click Continue again.

Step 4.  Confirm your name information, and select your country from the drop down menu. Click Next

Step 5.  Click the Activate button.

Step 6.  On the Register Your Phone page, select Text Capable or Voice OnlyCountry, and enter your phone number (do not include parenthesis, dashes, etc.). Click Register.

Step 7.  Enter the code you receive on your phone into the Verification field provided on the screen. Click Continue. A confirmation screen displays, and you can now access the desired applications. 




STEP 3.  Login with Phone OTP 

After the activation of your Phone OTP, MAG will start prompting you for a Phone OTP at every login. Please note that logging in with a Phone OTP is a crucial step for application access. If you log in with the User ID and Password, but skip the OTP step, protected applications won't be available. Complete the steps below to log in with Phone OTP, or to elevate your credential strength to Phone OTP after the login.

Follow the steps below to log in with Phone OTP:

Step 1.  Navigate to www.portal.exostar.com, and log into MAG using your User ID and Password.

Step 2.   Select the phone number that you want use to receive the OTP code. Click Send to have the code sent to your phone.

Step 3.  You will receive the OTP code on your phone. Once you receive the code, it will be valid for the next two minutes. If the code expired, click Resend Code. Enter the code in the OTP code field. Click Submit.


If you skipped the Phone OTP step during the User ID and Password login, you can elevate the credential strength to phone OTP from within your MAG account. Follow the steps below to elevate your credential strength:

Step 1.  From the Home dashboard view, navigate to the My Account tab.

Step 2. Click the Manage OTP sub-tab.

Step 3. From the Manage OTP section of the page, click Elevate.

Step 4. Follow the prompt to complete the Phone OTP login.

You can confirm that you are indeed logged in with Phone OTP by verifying the credential strength in the upper right corner of the MAG screen. Your credential strength should say Phone OTP.

Do I always have to login with my OTP?

Yes, if your applications require an OTP credential for access. If you skip OTP during the login, you will receive the Login Requirements Not Met message when trying to access these applications.


I did not use the OTP during login, and now I can't access certain applications. What should I do?

If you logged in without your OTP credential, you can elevate your security to OTP after you are already in MAG. To do so, complete these steps:

Step 1.  From the Home dashboard view, click My Account.

Step 2.  Click the Manage OTP sub-tab.

Step 3.  From the Manage OTP section of the page, click Elevate.

Step 4.  Follow the prompts to login with OTP.

The credential strength (located in the upper right corner of the page), changes from Username and Password to your OTP credential type.   


I am no longer prompted to login with my OTP credential. What should I do?

If the system no longer prompts for your credential during login, your credential is most likely expired. To renew your credential, follow these steps:

Step 1.  Log into your MAG account, and click Billing and Support located in the upper right corner.

Step 2.  To renew expired credentials, click Subscription Renewals from the blue banner (top of page).

Step 3.  Select the product from the drop-down menu, and select Available Renewals

Step 4. Click Add to Cart. Follow the prompts to complete your renewal.

 OTP Sharing

Can I share my OTP credential with someone else?

No, credentials cannot be shared. Each user requires their own credential. Sharing credentials is a violation of Exostar’s policy.


I have not activated my OTP credential.  Can I give it to someone else?

If you have not activated the credential, it can be given to someone else, as long as the license key (provided at the time of purchase) has not been used.

 FIS MLOA

For incident reporting, I have FIS Medium Level of Assurance (MLOA) Hardware Digital Certificates. Do I still need to purchase an OTP credential?

Password & Security Question Help

 Reset User ID or Password

I forgot my User ID or Password. Can I reset it without calling Customer Support?

You can reset your User ID or Password if you know/remember the email address and zip code used to set up your MAG account. If you have this information on hand, follow the steps below to easily reset your forgotten user information:

Step 1.  Go to https://portal.exostar.com. Click Forgot User ID? or Forgot Password? link. 

Step 2.  If you need help with your user ID, click Forgot User ID. Enter email address and zip/postal code. Click Continue.

Step 3.  User ID information is sent to the email address associated with your account. Enter Email Address and Zip/Postal Code and click Continue.

Step 4.  If you need help with your password, click Forgot Password. Enter User ID and click Continue.

Step 5.  Answer security questions. Click Continue.

A system-generated password is sent to the email address on file.

 Reset Security Questions

I forgot my security questions. How can I reset them?

You can reset your security questions if you know/remember the email address and zip code used to set up your MAG account. If you have this information on hand, follow the steps below to easily reset your forgotten user information:

Step 1.  If you do not remember your questions, click Forgot Security Questions/Answers?-Follow these steps to reset your password. Enter Email Address and Zip/Postal Code and Click Continue.

Step 2.  A system-generated password is sent to the email address on file.

If you have multiple accounts registered with the same email address, contact Exostar Customer Support for assistance.

 Update Password & Security Questions

I remember my password and security questions, but I would like to change them. How can I do this?

To change your password:

Step 1.  After logging in, click the My Account tab. Click Change Password.

Step 2.  To change your password, enter the old password and new password. Confirm your password and click Submit.

Your password is successfully changed.


To change your security questions:

Step 1.  After logging in, click the My Account tab. Click Change Security Question and click the change box to enable edit-mode.

Step 2.  Select questions and enter answers. Click Submit.

Your security questions are now updated.

Whom should I contact if I do not remember my zip code or email address, and cannot update my password?

If you do not remember what email or zip code were used to set up your MAG account, you can reach out to the MAG Organization Administrator within your company, who can easily reset your permanent MAG password. If the Organization Administrator is not available, please reach out to Exostar Customer Support.
