In order to access the Contracts Form in Partner Information Manager (PIM), you must have an Exostar's Managed Access Gateway (MAG) account, as well as a Phone OTP without Proofing credential. Your organization must first have an Exostar MAG account before users can obtain access.
IMPORTANT! To access PIM, you must have a registered Phone OTP without Identity Proofing credential. Without the credential, you are unable to access the PIM application for form completion.
No MAG Account
Your organization must be invited by Oceaneering to access PIM. If Oceaneering has selected to do business with your organization, a point of contact within your organization received an Exostar organization registration invitation for PIM access.
This invitation process involves assigning administrative roles for the organization's account. Once the invitation has been completed, it is routed to Exostar for approval. If approved, individuals assigned administrative roles receive the first time login email.
During the account activation process, users assigned with the Organization Administrator or PIM Application Administrator must accept the PIM application Terms and Conditions before any user within the organization can request PIM access.
Step 1. You will receive an email inviting you to access Exostar’s secure access platform. Click Accept Invitation.
Step 2. Next click Get Started and complete the Registration form for your company.
Step 3. After you have submitted your registration, you will receive an email with an account activation link (please allow up to 24-48 hours for the approval process to complete).
NOTE: Since you created the registration for your company, you are automatically assigned the Organization Administrator role. (Click here to learn more about MAG Administrator Roles).
Step 4. From the Account Activation email, click the Activate My Account button. Next complete the steps to create your password and setup your security questions. Then click Next.
Step 5. A confirmation screen will display, then click Go To Dashboard button to access your MAG account.
Step 6. Scroll to the Application section, you will see the PIM application.
NOTE: If you are the Organization or Application Administrator you must accept the terms and conditions for PIM application, before your company can access the solution. Click Agree to Terms and follow the steps to accept the terms and conditions.
Step 7. Now users will see the PIM application under the Applications section and be able to click Launch to open the solution.
NOTE: If users do not see the PIM application under the Applications tab, they will be able to request access under the Request Applications sub-tab, find the PIM solution and click Request Access. A request will then be sent to your company's Administrator to approve their request, once approved they can access the application.
MAG Organization Account, No User Account
If you know your organization has an Exostar MAG account, but you do not have a user account, you must work with your MAG Organization Administrator. If you do not know your organization's Organization Administrator, please contact Exostar Customer Support for assistance.
MAG Account, Not Subscribed to PIM
If your organization is subscribed to Partner Information Manager (PIM), the application displays as a listed application from the MAG Dashboard view., If you login o your MAG account and PIM does not display in your applications list, your organization is not subscribed to PIM. Your organization must be invited by Oceaneering to access PIM. Please work with Oceaneering for your organization's PIM subscription.
Step 1. Login to your MAG Account - https://portal.exostar.com.
Step 2. Scroll to Applications section, select the Request Applications sub-tab, find the PIM product, click Request Access button.
Step 3. An Organization or Application Administrator from your company will receive a request to approve your access to the PIM application.
Step 4. Once approved, you will see the PIM application in your My Applications section. Click Launch to open the application.
MAG Account, Subscribed to PIM
If your organization is subscribed to Partner Information Manager (PIM) displays as a listed application from the MAG Dashboard view. To access PIM, click Launch next to PIM. If you are not logged in with the Phone OTP credential, you won't be able to access the application.
Step 1. Login to your MAG account with your UserID and password, as well as your credentials - https://portal.exostar.com.
Step 2. Scroll to Applications section, find the PIM product, click Launch button to open.
Follow these steps below to purchase Phone OTP without Proofing:
Step 1. You will need to purchase 2FA credentials, from your MAG Dashboard in the My 2FA Credentials blue toolbar, select the Get 2FA button.
Step 2. You will be redirected to the Purchase your Exostar Subscription page, then select your credential - Phone Based One Time Password (OTP) without proofing.
Step 3. Follow the steps to complete your purchase.
NOTE: Ensure you select the correct product based on your location: US Phone Service or Non-US Phone Service.
Step 4. Next click Add to Cart. Then select Checkout.
Step 5. Review your order and click Proceed to Checkout.
Step 6. Select payment method. View or update billing address. Scroll down and click Continue.
NOTE: If you purchase with a credit card, you will receive the license key via email. If you select the invoice option, you must submit payment to Exostar before you receive your license key.
Step 7. Click Place Order to receive an order number.
NOTE: It can take up to 24 hours to receive the license key if you purchased with a credit card. Please check your junk, spam or email filters if you have not received the license key. If you have not received the license key email after 24 hours, please contact Exostar Customer Support.
Follow these steps below to Activate your Phone OTP without Proofing credential:
Step 1. Login to your MAG Account - https://portal.exostar.com.
Step 2. In the My 2FA Credentials section, find the "Have a License Key?" and click the Enter it here link.
Step 3. Enter your license key and click Submit.
Step 4. Confirm your profile and select your country from the dropdown list. Click Next.
Step 5. Click the Activate button.
If you are coming back to the process, begin by logging into your MAG account. Navigate to the My Account tab → Manage OTP sub-tab → click Purchase or Register Credentials link.
Follow these steps below to register your Phone OTP without Proofing credential:
Once you activate your credential in MAG:
Step 1. On the Register Your Phone page, select Text Capable or Voice Only.
NOTE: This determines how you receive the one time password on your phone.
Step 2. Select your Country and enter your Phone Number in the field provided.
Step 3. Click Register to receive the one-time password to your mobile device.
Step 4. Enter this number in the Verification field that displays on your computer screen. Click Continue.
Step 5. Select I’m Done on the confirmation screen.
This ends the registration and access process. Once you complete this section, you can now access the PIM solution.
