PolicyPro Getting Started

Thank you for choosing Exostar LLC to assist in you in centrally managing your NIST compliant policies.  The below FAQs will assist you in understanding and navigating within the Exostar PolicyPro application.


Registration

Completing Account Registration

Step 1.  Accept the user agreement.

Step 2.  Setup a new password.

NOTE: Passwords must be 8 or more characters long and must contain: at-least 1 uppercase, 1 lowercase, and 1 numeric character.

Step 3.  Confirm the password.

Step 4.  Verify the accuracy of the account information.

Step 5.  Add new users if you wish to do so at this time.

NOTE: This is only for administrators and super users. See Types of Users below for more information. See Adding New Users below for more information.


Logging in

Received login instruction email?

Step 1.  Find the email from Exostar PolicyPro <policypro@ismsapplications.com> subject: Exostar PolicyPro Account Details

NOTE: See I never received an email if you cannot find the account information email.

Step 2.  Enter the email address and temporary password from the email above.

NOTE: See I forgot my password if you can’t find or can’t remember your password.

Step 3.  Click the Login button or use the “https://platform.ismsapplications.com" link.

Step 4.  Enter in your email and temporary password from step 2.

NOTE: You will be directed to change your password after successfully logging in with the temporary password. Passwords must be 8 or more characters long and must contain: at-least 1 uppercase, 1 lowercase, and 1 numeric character.


Can’t find your account information?

Step 1.  Go to the url “https://platform.ismsapplications.com".

Step 2.  Click on the link: Forgot my password.  You must use the same email address in which the account was set-up.

NOTE:  You will receive a new email from policypro@ismsapplications.com for further instructions. 


What to do if I forgot my password?

Step 1.  Go to the url: https://platform.ismsapplications.com.

Step 2.  You must use the same email address in which the account was set-up.

What to do if I never received an email?

If you have not received an email with your account details please choose from the following options:

NOTE:  Customer Support Hours of Operation: 9 am – 8 pm EST from Monday through Friday.
