Exostar provides the following services and applications to Newport News Shipbuilding (NNS) and their trading partners:
- Using the Supply Chain Platform (SCP-NNS), Newport News Shipbuilding can more effectively receive supplier responses to orders and requests for quotes (RFQs). The supplier responds to the order or RFQ in SCP-NNS. The response is sent directly to NNS’s backend systems for more efficient processing and improved management of exceptions.
- Information Manager - HII allows for the efficient routing of Supplier Scorecards, CVN78 Class Terms & Conditions (Appendices), File Drop – transmission of large data files (drawings, specs, etc), and PORA’s (Purchase Order Refresh Action).
- Federated Identity Service (FIS) facilitates the issuance of dual-factor, hardware-based digital certificates, which are required to access SCP-NNS and NNS IM.

Huntington Ingalls Industries: Exostar’s Partner Information Manager (PIM) risk management tool allows suppliers to complete and share the NIST SP 800-171 Questionnaire with Huntington Ingalls Industries. The information that a supplier partner provides in the NIST SP 800-171 Questionnaire is used by Huntington Ingalls Industries to ensure unclassified DoD information residing on the supplier's internal information system is safeguarded from cyber incidents mandated by Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) regulations.
