Form Assignments

Anytime a Buyer invites a Supplier to complete a form in the PIM application, the PIM system assigns the form to all PIM-subscribed users of the Supplier organization, regardless of user role.  All users receive a notification email alerting them of the form assignment and they can view, edit, and submit the form.


The PIM Application Administrator in the PIM solution can still manage form assignments, to include removing users and re-assigning users who have been removed from a form. 



Remove Assignment

To remove a form assignment:

Step 1.  In the Form Summary widget, locate the desired form and select the Assign To icon.

Step 2.  In the pop-up window, locate the desired user and click the Remove Assignment link.

Step 3.  In the confirmation window, select OK to complete the process.



Assign Form

To assign a form:

Step 1.  In the Form Summary widget, locate the desired form and select the Assign To icon.

Step 2.  In the pop-up window, select a user from the Users drop-down. Click Add.

Step 3.  Once you complete user assignments, click the Close button.



Unlock Form

A user can lock a form if they are editing questions. If you need to unlock the form for another user to edit the answers:

Step 1.  In the Form Summary widget, locate the desired form and select the Assign To icon.

Step 2.  In the pop-up window, locate the desired user and click the Unlock icon.

Step 3.  In the confirmation window, select OK to complete the process.
